Be active! - Make something of your life! - You should know what you want. - Take your life into your own hands! - Actualize yourself! - Everyone is the architect of their own fortune, etc. Every day we deal with such thoughts and often enough we suffer from the fact that we could and would like to achieve a lot more.
Carl Welkisch never called for inactivity, and he always said that one must seek the good. But at the same time Welkisch pointed out that the real power and effect of all things and all events do not come from outside and are not to be found in the outside world but in the invisible part of reality.
This thought could frighten us because we experience so little of the invisible part of reality and are therefore virtually at the mercy of this hidden reality. But Welkisch has repeatedly affirmed that people do have access to the invisible world and can deal with it of their own free will. Above all, every thought opens up a certain area and activates certain forces from the invisible reality. A thought that wants the good connects people with good forces that help, support, and protect them and accompany them on their way. A thought that wants the bad strengthens the negative in people and gives negative forces access to the person that wants the bad.
The distinct separation between the visible and the invisible reality is a form of protection of the highest dignity of the human being, which is the absolute freedom to choose right or wrong. Clearly seeing the invisible world could restrict people in their free decision and actually put pressure on them if they could clearly see the results of their thoughts and actions in the infinite, not yet visible reality of their life. There are numerous signs on the path of life, whether inside or outside of church, that give everyone the chance to grasp some aspect of immortality and help them decide for what is right.
Carl Welkisch pointed out the value of letting be. Letting be is an inner activity that makes it possible for the right thing to happen. Letting be also includes allowing and letting go. And when we observe the order of the outside world, the movement of the stars, the power of regenerative nature, etc., then we can easily recognize that life and development are not made and desired from the outside, but that they simply happen. On the contrary: through our will and actions we often set limits on the naturally organizing forces of nature. Phenomena such as the "ozone hole" or the obvious increase in natural disasters are clear indications of this.
This shows that our egoistic will and actions often hold us back more than ‘letting be’ could benefit us. Carl Welkisch has repeatedly pointed out this connection and in doing so has also helped some of his friends overcome their fear of missing out.
